Airstream Dimensions Guide

Selecting the right Airstream begins with understanding space requirements for your adventures. Here's a breakdown of each model's measurements, organized from our smallest to largest options. All measurements include Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H) with air conditioning installed.

Understanding Size Categories

Single-Axle (16'-22'): Standard 8-foot width, easier towing characteristics, fits more campground sites, reduced weight

Dual-Axle (23'-33'): 8-foot width at 23', 8'5.5" width at 25' and above, improved towing stability, increased interior volume, additional storage options

Touring Coaches (19'-24'): Van-based widths (approximately 6'10"-7'4"), self-contained motorhomes, eliminates tow vehicle requirements, Mercedes-Benz propulsion

Height Considerations: Most travel trailers measure approximately 9'3" to 9'8" tall with air conditioning systems. Interior headroom generally ranges from 6'3" to 6'5", providing comfortable standing height for most adults.

Width Significance: The transition from 8-foot to 8'5.5" width in larger models produces substantially more interior space and proves worthwhile for extended trips or multiple travelers.

Remember that interior dimensions differ from exterior specifications. Each model optimizes living space within its framework, so we recommend visiting our Albany location to experience different sizes firsthand and determine which suits your travel preferences.
